Close Contact

  • The CDC defines close contact as “an individual who was within 6 feet of an infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more in a 24 hour period.”

If a student or staff member has been in contact with a tested, COVID-19 positive individual the student or staff member must quarantine at home for 10-14 days from the last exposure date per IDPH Guidelines.

Social distancing will be implemented when possible, however with bringing more students into the building, social distancing cannot be guaranteed. Your student may be required to quarantine if they are in close contact of a positive case.
