Dr. Matt Vosberg
Welcome to Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School District 307, a large suburban high school consisting of almost 2,000 diverse students within a supportive community of 40,000 residents. BBCHS is a nationally recognized district known for its academic excellence, co-curricular activities, social-emotional programs, and equity work. Our district initiatives aid in maintaining our mission of empowering students on their pathway to success.
I am extremely honored and privileged to serve this school district and this community. There is something for everybody at BBCHS. We offer 19 Advanced Placement courses, field 32 athletic teams, and support 24 extracurricular clubs, giving all students access and exposure to a variety of learning opportunities. Many of our staff are alumni, past or present BBCHS parents, or planning on sending their children to BBCHS, providing a strong sense of community in our district.
The College Board recently recognized us as an “AP School Honor Roll.” This recognition ranks us in the top 20% of schools in the state of Illinois. We are very proud of our students and staff members who have worked tremendously hard to improve learning outcomes for our students. Driving this work is our shared commitment to our Quality Measures. The Quality Measures align the priorities of the board, the staff, and the administration to monitor progress on our strategic plan. These measures help us define a shared definition of quality.
With the successful passage of referendum this past November, we are excited about the $70 million dollar investment we will be able to make to our facility. We anticipate breaking ground in the fall of 2025. We are grateful for all the community input and support we received throughout the referendum campaign.
Our staff is committed to continuous improvement, and we welcome your feedback. One of our improvement principles is to focus on the end user. I plan to be available and accessible to this community's needs and desires. I welcome any and all questions, thoughts, or concerns.
Respectfully,
Dr. Matt Vosberg
