• E-Learning is the online learning that is used in lieu of a district using emergency days.
Emergency days are placed at the end of the school calendar in May to be used if a school cannot open
due to circumstances outside of one’s control. Typically, weather is the main reason district’s enact
emergency days, but other reasons can also exist. If the school closure can be predicted, BBCHS
students will engage in instruction via e-learning.

If the BBCHS campus is closed and e-learning is used:

Staff and students should take their chromebook home at the conclusion of each school
    day.

A district official will notify staff, students, and parents of a campus closure via email,
phone, and/or text, and the website will also have updated information.

Faculty will provide synchronous lessons to students using Google Meets.

Students will log on to Google Meets and attendance will be taken at the beginning of each class period. Students will have cameras turn on for the entire class period. Engagement in the lesson is the same as in-person learning. Students with accommodations will receive all accommodations afforded to them.

The Early Dismissal bell schedule will be used - 40 minute class periods with a 1:10pm “dismissal.”
