A few weeks ago we sent out a parent survey asking for your feedback. Something we took away from your response was the need for clarification of the different learning platforms used at BBCHS.
We have heard you and we are excited to be presenting the first event in a parent webinar series, “Supporting Your Student: BBCHS Learning Platforms.” This virtual event will take place on Thursday, October 29 at 6pm using the Zoom link here, as well as pasted below.
This webinar will cover the role and function of the various platforms students are using including Canvas, Google Classroom, and College Board. The discussion will be hosted by our Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Tiffany Kohl, and will feature presentations from multiple BBCHS teachers.
It is our hope that this conversation and presentation will be able to clarify the role of each platform for you and your student. This will be a time of learning as well as a time to get any questions you have answered.
Please set an alarm and mark this date on your calendar! We hope to see you virtually on Thursday at 6pm!
This zoom is in a webinar format and only our panelists will be on video and audio. This link is for you to simply come and watch live while also being able to message in questions using the chat feature.
Seniors & Senior Families,
It is time to start thinking about ordering caps and gowns for graduation coming up in the spring!
While we do not exactly know what the spring semester is going to look like, we can promise that administrators are already having conversations about providing a graduation celebration for our Class of 2021.
We are encouraging all seniors to order their cap and gown before October 30 before prices go up. Please check out the video below to get information from your classmates about how to order!

Attention Junior and Senior Students,
As many of you may know, this time of year we usually partner with KCC for the Annual Kankakee Area College Fair. Due to the current conditions, the college fair has gone virtual this year beginning October 19th and extending through November 2nd. Over 40 colleges and universities will be in virtual attendance. This is an excellent way to learn more about degree programs, admission requirements, scholarships, and application deadline dates. We are encouraging all junior and senior students to take advantage of this opportunity! Follow the link below to participate!
Below is the list of groups organized by student ID numbers. In order to find your student press Ctrl F on PC or Command F on Mac then type your student's ID number into the search bar.
