Welcome
Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School is a great place to be! We have a growing student body, a highly qualified staff and a supportive community that fuel a sustained focus on improvement. Our goal is to provide the best educational opportunities and the best high school experience for the students of our community, using the resources we have available.
As enrollment grows and expectations of schools increase, we respond to the resulting challenges. We hire highly qualified teachers who teach a wide variety of courses, provide special support to students, and who direct a full extra-curricular program outside of the classroom. We engage in an ongoing review of course offerings and content. Where appropriate, the curriculum is revised and new courses are developed to meet the needs of today’s students and the educational priorities set by the state.
We recently completed a major investment to improve, modernize and expand the campus and facility to meet the demands of record enrollment and our changing curriculum. Improvements include:
· 2.5 acres added to the campus to provide for additional student parking
· New bleachers installed that better match our enrollment
· In 40,000 sq ft of existing space, the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting and flooring was renovated
· A modern 33,000 sq. ft. addition was completed providing
o 14 additional classrooms
o 4 new restrooms
o 600 additional student lockers
o A well equipped 4,000 sq. ft. strength facility for physical education and athletics
