Daily Announcements
Announcements to be read during second period: Monday, February 6th, 2012
SOUP OF THE DAY: Chicken Noodle
All Students:
Put your knowledge of prominent African-Americans to the test and win a fabulous prize all at the same time! The BBCHS Library is celebrating Black History Month with a brand new window contest. In the library’s display window you’ll find pictures of 11 African-Americans who have contributed great things to American society. Pick up an entry form in the library, name as many of these great Americans as you can, and return your entry to the library staff for your chance to win valuable prizes! That’s all there is to it, so don’t miss your own shot at greatness! Contest ends this Friday. (M. Dorsam 2/9)
Students: Keep bringing in your "Gently" used jeans to the Student Affairs Office. BBCHS has teamed up with Aeropostale to collect jeans for homeless teens. Now’s your chance to clean out your closets and get rid of any jeans you may have outgrown (and make room for a new pair or two). This Friday will be the last day donations will be accepted. (R. Zimbelman 2/8)
Starting TOMORROW, the Art Club will be outside the cafeteria selling chocolate hearts for only a $1. These Valentines will be delivered on Tuesday, February 14th. (C. Hosek 2/6)
Congratulations are in order to the chess team! After defeating Carl Sandburg on Tuesday night the team completed their undefeated season in Conference play and were crowned SWSC Blue Division champions. In addition; Matt Piotrowiak, Elliott DuCharme, Juan Takase, and Tony Cotugno were named as top point scores in the conference. Way to go Boilers! (R. White 2/6)
Girls: This is just a friendly reminder that the locks in the girl’s "POOL" locker room should not have locks left on them. Only the top lockers were assigned to Coach Boudreau’s class. (S. Boudreau 2/7)

Art Honor Society: There’s a lot to do in February! Mark your calendars for the next workshop after school on Tuesday, February 21st.
